welcome, the movie will rock!
Kite Runner in Chicago… I want this book to keep selling… unfortunately I just learnt about the book recently, when I saw the posters of the movie coming out. I want the sales to go really high on this. And have every single friend of mine to check this movie out in theatres. Our cutlrue our people should also rise.

Welcome everyone to See Kite Runner Run, Kite Runner reading group. The goal is simple. We want to see this great book come to life on the silver screen. Who wants to join me!
I read “The Kite Runner” while in Nicaragua, where I was living and teaching with an NGO for 7 months. Yet, for the time I was reading the book I was not in Nicaragua, but in Afghanistan…the descriptions of the country pre-Soviet invasion, and of the two lead characters, were so vivid that I literally feel like I lived there. The relationship with “Baba” was also painfully realistic, and made the significance of the kite contest that much more potent. It is rare to find a book that carries such a strong political message and is also such a great story in contemporary fiction, but this one manages to do it all.
Welcome. Please join this group. You may have read the novel. This is the first inspiring movie in our time.
Hi Everyone,
This is Mr. Abraham, our Global Studies teacher. I read The Kite Runner a year ago, and immediately ordered copies for our classes last year as the book really moved me. Also, it added an incredible human touch to our study of Afghanistan. We’ll be reading it this year too, and hopefully viewing the film.
